We’re very pleased to announce that Maldaba were successful collaborators on a grant application awarded by Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Charity earlier this month to develop a web-based decision tool to support young people who self-harm.The project is led by Clinical Psychiatrist Dr. Paul Moran from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London and involves a number of partners include ChildLine who have identified self-harm as an issue of growing concern amongst young people.
The 3-year research project which starts in 2013 will use both Annalisa, our Multi-Criteria Decision Aid, and Elicia, our on-line questionnaire builder. The project will build upon Maldaba’s experience developing innovative web-based decision aids, such as the My Contraception Tool project when we collaborated with Brook and the Family Planning Association.
