Our Approach

Maldaba take a holistic approach to software development.

Sometimes the client provides us with a very tight brief, and our role is simply to produce software that meets this specification. However, this is rare.

More often we will need to work with the client to help them refine and focus their ideas, and to help them understand how the software will fit into current or proposed working practices (often helping to clarify and streamline those practices in the process). We will continue to collaborate with them in this way during the whole of the development cycle, with the end result being an integrated and natural solution that enhances their workflow, with minimum disruption to their organisation.

By the end of the process we aim to understand the client's business as well as they do - and hopefully they will end up understanding it better themselves, too!

In addition to delivering the finished software product, we offer a range of services to compliment the process.

Consultancy

Maldaba offer a business consultancy service, aimed at formalising working practices that may have developed informally over many years, pinpointing inconsistencies of approach and suggesting areas where efficiency could be improved. This is primarily aimed at our software clients, as this kind of formalisation is a requirement of the development cycle. However it is also something we offer as an independent service.

Maldaba have a great deal of experience working with non-technical staff and, in situations where we are not bidding for a project, can also act as technical advisors, helping clients navigate the often confusing world of IT.

Training

Maldaba offer training sessions for all our products. We have developed a variety of training sessions aimed at users with different levels of experience and competency.

Technical Support

Maldaba offer a range of technical support contracts. These usually refer to software we have provided (and are an optional extra when purchasing our software) but can also incldue more general support for an organisation that does not have in-house technical expertise.

In addition, Maldaba are available as consultants to help our customers use our off-the-shelf software to maximum effect.
